Sadly, I don't really speak 'boat'
Even though my Dad had one when I was a kid, and used to take us water skiing at a local lake. I really enjoyed the skiing, but paid no attention to the mechanism that provided the propulsion.
Later on, I heard that a boat may be referred to as 'a hole in the water that you throw money into'. That's been about the extent of my knowledge ever since .
In your case, it seems like you may be throwing a lot of hard work into the hole .
Nevertheless, I wish you luck. Perhaps you are on your way to some water skiing yourself - and thereby making the whole thing a worthy endeavor.
And 36 pounds of stock for your router holds endless possibilities as well.
