The Bean is ALIVE!
#1
Hi All,

I had been dragging my feet getting my Kudo3D Bean set up. Lots of issues to solve, and I didn't really have a project to help drive me to get things going.

Well, this evening, my son grabbed the printer, got it set up, and started a print! Smile

So, that's happening Smile. The print is supposed to be the Rook with the internal staircase and helix. It's supposed to take 6 hours. Not the fastest machine ever...

Right now, it's not done enough that I  can even see if there is anything materializing under the build plate. But if there is something, I will post a picture of it tomorrow.

Anticipation... Smile

Sorry, didn't get the pic posted yet. It came out fantastic. We are very pleased.

More when possible.

Hi All,

Well, here is the very first result from the Kudo3d Bean. I couldn't have asked for a better first print. I'm sorry that I can only post pictures - I've seen a lot of pictures of resin printer output, but being able to hold the result in your hand and examine it closely gives a far different experience. It really is quite impressive.

Any suggestions for what we should print next? Smile

Stan

EDIT: The forum is ignoring my attachments at the moment... trying to fix. One moment please...
EDIT2: Gack, my images are just above the allowed upload size, which I can't increase without also changing php settings, which I can't do in my hosting provider's UI. It's too late in the day for this nonsense. Resizing the images... One (more) moment please...
EDIT3: Hoping the images are there now Smile
