Hi All,
I tried to set the forums up so that a user's first post has to be approved by an administrator (usually me).
After I did this, I realized it didn't always work. In fact, I thought it was broken entirely, so I fell out of the habit of checking for posts that need to be approved. Today I looked, and I found a post from October that was never approved.
So, I apologize for missing that. I will either turn off that mechanism, or do a better job of tracking posts in the future.

I have the 'red' board that has been working ok, but would like to update the firmware to the latest that Marlin has. I haven't really seen much that shows me how to perform the update. I've loaded the IDE and have the zip file already for Arduino, but unsure of what to do on the board itself. Do I just set the bootloader jumper and ???
Thanks for looking!

OpenMV Cam H7 |

Hi All,
Here's a kickstarter project for the OpenMV Cam H7:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/179...icropython
It's a programmable camera platform for machine vision.
If you'd like your robots to 'see' the environment, this will do it for you.
I have a different machine vision camera, the Pixy (https://pixycam.com/pixy-cmucam5/), and it's pretty fun. The H7 looks far more customizable, both in hardware, and software. For comparison, there is a newer Pixy2 (https://pixycam.com/pixy2/) but the H7 still has the customization advantage, and some claim it performs better as well.
In any case, I find all of these technologies really fun and interesting. I hope you do too.

Finally getting back to the TwoUp I bought several years ago! I'm using Octopi with a PI3. Moved the head to a corver and gave the G92 command, then M14 but it didn't return the anticipated 0. I couldn't get a simple shape to make the head move. I didn't have the extruder on nor any filiment in place for testing, but when it did move it crashed into the ends even with the max limits set (175 for x/y and 120 for z). Basically, any help to get the thing setup would be great!
Furthermore, I have the pdf build files if anyone needs them or I could post them if allowed.

Qu bd arduino/e3d lite 6 upgrade |

Hello all,
I have a qu bd two up hand me down that ive been wrestling with for a while. Its slowly coming along and prints are getting better....
My next venture with its is to install an e3d lite 6. It currently has the anubis, which seems ok but its been through maybe 4 people and the hot end inside and out looks rough...
I figured while im at it and since i have to update firmware i might as well upgrade to the mega 2560 and the ramps 1.4 sheild (currently has the black board). Im pretty new at this and have been reading a lot. Any thoughts guidance or whatnot on upgrading firmware? Install? Firmware that works best?
I also went ahead and ordered the proximity sensor mentioned in this article
https://www.instructables.com/id/Enable-..._page=true
I would very much like to have the auto bed leveling. I made a 1/4" aluminum bed and y bed and added the qu bd silicone heater pad to the bottom. Nice and stout! Heats nice and even and the thermistor is only off 2 degrees!
I would be more than happy to share any experiences i have going further. The qu bd gets a bad rap but people are expecting to much from a plywood printer. It truly is a fun little learning experience for my son and myself. And anyone with a knack for tinkering and engineering should have all kinds of fun with it. Its more than paid for itself with the education in 3dprinting its given me and the boy, and almost everyone in our circle of family and friends.
Thanks!
Ben
